Note: It was repeatedly reported that Clare would play Herself, a "Buffy" actress. Something happened between the
rumors and the WB. We never saw her image in any promos of the episode. It was like Season-6 deja vu, "Glory/Clare"
must not be mentioned. Except Tara did - once.

In fact, Clare is in 4 separate segments interacting with Sabrina and others. She has 5 outfits, 3 hairdos and 1 big
blonde wig. Her only jewelry is her earrings. Her back-of-the-left-shoulder little butterfly tattoo is barely visible in
some of the images. The matching one on the inside of her right ankle is never in camera view.

She wears pretty high platform sandals in the trailer scenes and apparently similar height shoes/boots in the shop
scenes.  Melissa Joan Hart isn't as short as she appears to Clare's significantly enhanced height.

Clare uses primarily a BIO "Courtney" approach to Babette, but with some of her "Glory" rolling endings of emphasized
words.

Synopsis:
Sabrina is looking for a story.
Babette Storm (Clare) arrives in the boutique and is observed by Sabrina shoplifting a yellow scarf.

The next time both are in the shop, they bond over choosing tops. Both then try on garments in the
adjacent dressing booths. Sabrina uses magic, while Babette is busy submarining to stuff the
garments into her shopping bags.

When Sabrina sees the empty hangers, she confronts Babette, revealing she works for "Scorch"
as a reporter. Babette reacts angrily and stalks back toward the racks. She craftily puts a bra
with the security tag still on it into Sabrina's shopping bag. Taking the dress she ordered, she
leaves with all her stolen goods also.

Amazed that no alarms go off,  Sabrina then leaves and the security detectors go off.
She's arrested. On the internet she discovers that Babette once shoplifted a tanning bed, after
stealing a truck to carry it in. Charges were dropped.

Later, in a magic view, she sees Babette going into the movie set star trailer carrying a satellite
dish assembly she apparently just stole. Sabrina pops over and knocks.

Babette comes out in shorts, an Ellie Mae top and a monster blonde wig. One of several one-liners
are traded,  including about the bra in Sabrina's shopping bag. She says that now people think
she's a thief, a liar and wears an "A" cup. Babette brushes this aside by saying she stole it for her sister.

After hearing Sabrina's pleas, Babette agrees to let Sabrina call her office with her cell phone
and let Babette take the blame. Disappearing into the trailer, she calls security saying Sabrina
just stole her cell phone. Sabrina is arrested again.

Babette drops the charges if Sabrina goes to Klept-Anon meetings for her stealing problem.
Sabrina bails out after a bit, determined to make Babette pay.

At Babette's press conference, she listens to Babette's lies about her new movie "Never Always".
Finally she bespells Babette to answer questions with the truth.

This is one of Clare's most enchanting moments.

She answers questions about her guilt cheerfully, admitting she doesn't know why.

Then Sabrina leaves, assuming she has an exclusive on Babette's shoplifting. But the press conference
is webcast, and since Sabrina never de-spelled Babette, she's now responding to other reporters,
confessing to all sorts of more serious things in her private and public life, still cheerfully not understanding
why.

Sort of like self-crucifixion.

This  gallery is from a selection of our almost 800 captures. Due to the limited pixel width of the faces and the surprisingly
poor satellite WB  picture quality, even after downsizing, most  are presented here at 500 pixels wide only.  As contrasted
to the satellite UPN images in the other comparable galleries:  Dawn "Lessons" and the Katherine Heigl "Twilight Zone"
(mini-gallery in Clare News).   -Gloriana
