To everyone's surprise, Glory's picture graces Disk 5 of the US Release.
And is also on one of the foldouts of the box.

Though it's not a particularly flattering Glory photo, it is  surprising
because Clare was never a cast member, but all the other disk images
(1 per disk) are Buffy cast members!

We've made scans of all the disks from the 2002 Region 2 (Europe) 
DVD stet and the 2003 US set and put them in the Quicky Gallery

Women of AllNight: Clare Kramer

There are those arguments that always seem split 50/50. Marino or
Montana? DH or no DH? Ginger or Maryanne? Clare Kramer deals 
with the same thing...only this split involves Kramer vs Kramer. 

Kramer played the cheerleader Courtney in the movie "Bring It On" and also played the spiritual Glory in the recently concluded TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Kramer says that guys know her as the former and women know 
her as the latter. Accepting her charter Women of AllNight 
membership, she talked about both of her roles and teased us with
the obvious benefits of working and playing with Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Cheer sex anyone?

NEWS UPDATE - AUGUST 31, 2003 

Clare finished work on GUY IN ROW FIVE yesterday. Clare had 
a great time working on this film and thinks that people will enjoy
the film a lot when it is released next year. As her last few film roles 
were all extremely dramatic, Clare was delighted to have the 
opportunity to work on a comedy.

GIRF casting calls Aeris found and posted on Clare's personal  site 
show a large cast and complex interactions between Rose (Clare),
the female lead, and many of the other cast. Rose is the female star
of the ficticious show the movie is about.

Quite by coincidence, we note that Glory Foods has a web site with

Their headquarters is in Columbus, Ohio. A few minutes drive south from Delaware, Ohio - where Clare grew up after moving from New Orleans
(she was born in Atlanta & her sister Callie in New Orleans.).

NEWS UPDATE - AUGUST 12, 2003 
Clare started work on her latest film role today, in the movie THE GUY IN ROW FIVE. Clare has the leading female role in this film. 

Written by and starring Bobby Field, and directed by Jonathon E. Stewart, the film is a comedy about a dreamer named Thess who moves to 
Hollywood to become a star. He lands a job as an extra on 
the hit TV series "Rodeo Nights". After pestering his way in to an 
audition for the show's new series regular, he is so convinced that
he booked the role hat he decides to document his last day of being 
a struggling actor. 

Also featuring Thomas Ian Nicholas and Joel Michaely, this film will be released later next year.

Amber Bensen's (Tara) film "Latter Days" wins first narrative film 
award and a $5,000 cash prize at the same festival.

Clare is not cast as Lucy in the feature film version of  D.E.B.S. (2004).
Which is now in post-production.

Lucy reappears in "Gods Walking Among Us", which continues the

Clare is also no longer credited as voicing Glory in the Buffy
video game "Chaos Bleeds".  The game's novel we received 
has Faith and the Fiirst in it, but no Glory. Big disappointment....

Amazon.com has just cancelled the availability date of 12/9/03
for Buffy Season-5 DVDs in USA Region 1 format. UK Season-5
format DVDs  were shipped in 2002 by Amazon.com-UK.

There's no nudity, though a lot of stripping down to bras/panties. Clare
uses the F-word and does a lot of kissing and interesting things to 
Amy. Makes Tara & Willow look like amateurs - but again it's 
actually PG-13-ish.

The dialog is clever and Clare parodies Glory. While Amy seems 
to be a parody of captive Dawn in season-5.

Fans say fangs for the Buffy memories

THE fangs were out at the weekend as two stars of cult television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer jetted into Belfast.

Fans of the hit programme were given plenty to sink their teeth into with guest appearances by actresses Juliet Landau and Clare Kramer at a Hellmouth convention in the Europa Hotel.

The Buffy stars, who play evil vampire Drusilla and the hellgoddess Glory in 
the show, took to the stage to answer questions from the audience about the programme.

The actresses also signed autogaphs and posed for photographs with fans.

Clare, who briefly visited Belfast last year during a signing tour, said she was delighted to be back.

And she expressed surprise at the huge interest in Northern Ireland in the show.

"You don't expect people to appreciate it so much, but it's nice to see that 
people are passionate about things you've been involved with."

Clare said the stars of the show were sad that it was nearing an end and that she would be sorry to see it go.

Additional guests at the conference were members of HYBRID FX, the special make-up team behind the prosthetic make-ups used on Gimly the dwarf in the latest Lord of the Rings Movie, The Twin Towers.

Working on getting up the home page and the new pages for gallery and 
so on as we go through the month of March. Wanted to start updating 
this page tho with some basic news while I continue design.

NEWS UPDATE - MARCH 09, 2003 

Clare has recently finished work on three films and one short. 
D.E.B.S., a short film she worked on last September, was recently 
screened at the Sundance Film Festival were it received much critical 
acclaim. In it Clare plays the villainous Lucy In The Sky. A feature
film will be made out of it, with production commencing in May, 
though at present it is unclear if Clare will reprise her role in it. 

Clare also appeared in the film LA DJ, and last November worked on 
the film SKULLS 3. Shot in Toronto, Canada, and to be released on DVD 
and video later in the year, this representes Clare's first leading 
film role. Clare plays the role of Taylor Brooks. 

More recently Clare worked on the film ARMADILLOS AND MUMMYS.
Shot in LA last February, again Clare again took the leading role in 
what she feels is some of her most dramatic and challenging work 
as an actress. This film is set to be released later this year. 

Meanwhile, THE RULES OF ATTRACTION, in which Clare has a small 
role as Candice, is now available on DVD and video in the US. Season 
5 of  BUFFY is now available to purchase on DVD and video in the UK.

The website is now up for Clare and Juliet's appearance in  Bournemouth for STARFLEET BALL on 25th April 2003, and you can start booking tickets!

\down to just 20 tickets  left for the Pages Bar gig on 26th April.

Also Thomas e-mailed us the link to the 4/27/03 Belfast Clare & Juliet event newspaper article scan of Clare. (See prior posts).

The image used by the newspaper looks to be one  of the series of Clare showing off her left back shoulder butterfly tattoo above her blue boob tube
top from the premiere of "Bring It On" 8/22/2000.

Clare has a similiar tattoo on the inside of her right ankle, as we discovered accidentally this summer in another image.

The images aren't really that small when downloaded. The web page designer just resized them without retaining the original aspect ratio, accounting for the resolution loss.

Now it's possible to see that Clare is only in one of the three:

Grimsby in the UK in April needs as much publicity as possible.

Unfortunately the map you had to seek so hard for is actually the 
wrong one! But in line with your criticism I have included a map on 
the page itself now. 

Thank you it was a useful suggestion. 

If you can change the reference to the map on your site I can remove 
the comment about you having the wrong map, because I know its not 
your fault! I don't want it to sound like you did anything wrong 
because you really are helping me. I will try to get some of the 
pictures from the event and send them to you for use on your site 
after the event in return for your advertising, hope that's okay with 
you?

Clarifications on Clare's April-May UK Itnerary - from "Thomas"

COMMENT- one of the difficulties in interpreting
the on-line UK ads for these events is the 
frequent assumption by the preparers that everyone
knows the cities and their locations, including 
Pages Bar. 

It's sort of like a treasure hunt at times.
Except for StarFury Convention's detailed info.

There's not a single mention of where Pages
Bar is in the on-line ad. We had to dig for the 
Grimsby location - the guide to the buried link 
was mentioned in a StarFury post.

Just to clear a few things up. Pages Bar is in London and is a 
separate event to the Belfast convention. The Pages Bar appearance
is on the evening of Saturday 26th April and the full day Belfast 
convention is on Sunday 27th. The venue for the Belfast convention 
is the Europa Hotel.
