After the incredible events of, and following, the first battle between Glory and Inanna,
Buffy returns briefly to Sunnydale to sort out her surprising new role and prepare for her
and Glory's next steps in their destiny.

This is part of the answer to several questions received from Australian/N.Z.(?)  e-mail queries

Several questions are answered, with Roswell & Buffy content, before this extract starts.

Q. Is the Tess from Sunnydale really having an affair with the pregnant god Glory?
A. Yes. But it's very experimental.

Q. Is the Clare that's the host to the pregnant god Glory the same as the Clare in the series?
A.  No. She's an other dimensional Clare. Which dimension is never made clear at all.
     Our dimension's Clare will be at the London StarFury convention 9-11 November.

A. The entire Glory/Clare pregnancy will be detailed by itself, from pre-conception to
     the birth of the god-girl Gloriana in late March 2002 (their time) in the later DTLS work,
     "Clare & Glory - Our Story".

Q. Is Dawn having a romance right now with Kyle from Roswell?
A. Yes. The full details will be the later DTLS work, "Pourquoi Pas?" There are
     small references to it in every work since "Three Days in Roswell".

Q. Explain again about Tess and Isabel? Curupira/Tess? The other isabel? Lonnie?
A. Tess and Isabel are sisters, Tess is the Warrior (and a Princess). Isabel is her sister, the Queen.
A. Max and Michael are brothers and were decoys to protect Isabel. Both were/are expendable.
A. Curupira and the other dimension Tess merged at the portal openings while
    trying, and failing,  to get the other dimension (later pregnant) Glory into the portal before
    Buffy's Glory.
A. Lonnie is Vilandra. She managed to link into the bestowal between Isabel & Tess and
    acquire similar powers. She trailed Isabel and Tess to Sunnydale.
A. The other Isabel is (we think) one of several other dimension Roswellians that were
     also in stasis under the Granilith base where Tess was trapped. This Isabel also gained powers
     during the same bestowal, exiting several days later and is still in Roswell. It is possible that
     this Isabel is the real sister of the other dimension Tess (The Sunnydale Tess now merged
     with Curupira).

Q. What happens in 'Comprehension' that's so important?
A. Glory faces the ancient super-technology 'god' Inanna (born c.12,000 BC) directly for the first time.
A. Facing personal annihilation, along with most of Southern California, Glory triumphs
     by prior knowledge,  god-skills,  ingenuity and clever god-magic. But Inanna flees with her
     fleet for future confrontation. This is apparently not resolved until much later in a series of works
     including  "Corrective Action",  "What Price Glory?", "Liberation or Empire?" &  "A Division of Spoils".

     Comment- The alien grays that tended the 8 Roswell hybrid fetuses are low-on-the-totem-pole
     biological androids working by themselves, supposedly for Inanna, since she was driven off
     earth by the ancestors of the  Sukkhal Twins, the God-Killer line. In ancient Sumerian writings
     and images, the grays were called the gallu. Most of this is detailed in the next work for transcription
     "Isabel & Tess - Blood Road".

    (ADDED: The references to the Sumerian cuneiform translations are from
     Zecharia  Sitchin's many books about the Anunnaki. "Blood Road" and
     subsequent DTLS works reveal the links between these old tales and the
     current day situation. That includes Roswell and the Roswell hybrid aliens,
     with the architect, the Anunnaki super-technology 'god' Inanna and the
     her sudden challenge from the 100% 'natural magic' upstart god Glory.)

     Inanna was the last female super-technology Anunnaki royal 'god' born on earth   (c. 12,000 BC).
     The Sukkhal line of God-Killers apparently managed to kill all the others for the sake of humankind's progress.

     This is why you're not reading Sumerian or Akkadian cuneiform writing right now.

A. As a result of her triumph, Glory ascends to previously incomprehensible levels of god-power
     in one jump. The first thing she does, now that she has the more than enough god-power, is
     to use it to do another supposedly impossible thing.

    In the Hyperion Hotel, with Cordelia and Wesley looking on, Glory makes the previously
    immortal Buffy a god in one giant step. She sends the new Buffy the god to Sunnydale
    on a mission.

[Dating comment- This page span pp. 933-945  has  no  initial margin date, but the prior jump from  p. 892 has
a margin date that translates to a time in our dimension of as early as  August 2001. Despite each work's synopsis page
general seasonal starting date, we still don't have a good understanding of the changing time/date relationship
between the two dimensions, except that theirs is way ahead of ours, starting the rate change when the first
portal opened 5/22/01.

The firmest dating method we have is the trimester that the pregnant Glory/Clare is in.   When they first appeared in
Sunnydale, it was July 2001 per "Dawn the Last Slayer, Part 2 of 3" and this was the first few weeks of the pregnancy.

Buffy and Glory apparently returned in their fall of 2001 and the Roswell trip was shortly afterward. It was stated in
 "Three Days in Roswell, Part 1 of 4" that they were in the fifth month, although Jim Valenti guessed the 6th month.
In any case, late in the 2nd trimester. In the DTLS "Comprehension" preview  extracted below, they are in the 3rd trimester.

We know from DTLS that the god-girl Gloriana was born in late March 2002, their  time and that it is currently
summer 2002 in their dimension, per DTLS. That equates to about a 7-9 month calendar difference now.
Whether it will grow or stabilize is unknown.- ED]

    [Ed.-  See "Comprehension", when its beginning is all  on-line later,  for details about why Inanna chose to use
            one of her few remaining antique fusion bombs for this task, rather than some of the more sophisticated
                and surgical weapons she had at hand. Think pure ruthlessness and a penchant for overkill,  when she
                discovered that one of the supposedly exterminated natural-magic gods (Glory, of course) had  surfaced
                from somewhere, somewhen or from another dimension.

                In fact, the High Anunnaki phrase for this particular old-style weapon has the same meaning as the
                Low Anunnaki, or Sumerian, word "sukkal" or "sukkhal", as in "Sukkhal, The God-Killers". In effect it means
                the "god-killer" thing.

               Inanna knew that these natural-magic gods had large, but finite limited magic reservoirs and could be
               destroyed by  overwhelming point-applied force. And this was the  most point-force she could commandeer,
               short of  steering an  mini-asteroid to impact on a god. (Inanna had done this before, believe it or not).  It
               had  worked in the past and would this time,  she was assured. Even though this god seemed to be of
               exceptional power. So Inanna decided to swamp her magics. It would be the first of her gross under-
               estimations of Glory's abilities, desire for destiny and a final accounting with Inanna.]

               One thing  to point out, Glory was in the Hyperion Hotel in our 'Buffy-is-TV' dimension,
            not their dimension. We believe this event occurred in their early winter of 2001-2002, their time.
               That could have been  sometime late summer 2001 in our dimension time.

               A nuclear winter and the fall of all high civilizations on earth could have also followed because of the sheer
               enormity of the bomb's blast.  At a minimum, destruction of most of Southern California would have occurred.

               Is it any wonder that this event is the watershed against which all others must be measured?

Bombs and Effects - Fission, Fusion, Triggers

            A 1 megaton yield nuclear warhead has a 30 million degrees C  core temperature fireball  with
               a typical diameter  up to 1 mile. The blast area of total destruction will  extend out another 10-20 miles.
               The crater for a ground burst will be about 600 feet deep and up to a mile across.

                A  600 megaton Anunnaki bomb  would have a fireball of about 8 miles in diameter,  total destruction
                out to 80-160 miles,  leaving a  crater about 5,000 feet deep and up to 8 miles across. In other words,
                the equivalent of a 500-1,500 feet diameter nickel-iron mini-asteroid/ large meteoroid impact.

                Hence, the destruction of most of Southern California would have occurred, except for Glory.

                By comparison, the Hiroshima linear gun-type uranium U-235 fission bomb had a corrected yield
                of 10-12 kilotons, or  about 0.01 (1/100th) of a  megaton and a relatively small destruction area. The
                Nagasaki implosion Pu-239 plutonium bomb was estimated to be about twice the yield of the U-235
                bomb.

                Fusion bombs  are triggered by a smaller fission bomb to raise the temperature to the point where
                hydrogen isotopes can start to fuse to helium, releasing enormous energy. It's possible to start  the
                fusion  process on a  small scale in microscopic spheres,  using high power lasers.

                The Anunnaki bomb used an unknown super-technology triggering method and did not initiate the
                process with a fission trigger..
