"Due to the proliferation of sites with images downloaded from unidentified other sites
it has proved impossible to provide definitive sources for most images. Some images
on this site go back to 1999 or earlier downloads, with zero traceability.

"Simple yahoo.com/google sites found via searching on names reveals that there are multiple
instances of the same images. Some are resized & some are altered with logos and
inserted text. A good example is the Clare Kramer image in the patriotic bikini top
that has been downloaded:

   (1) as originally shot with the Pink Motel sign in the background,
   (2) altered, with sky replacing the  sign and also
   (3) with site-added text in the fake sky where the sign was.

"Some magazine sites in the U.K. state that they require permission for even linking
to the site. The U.S. sites for the same magazines have many of the same images
with no stated restrictions. Some professional sites have these same magazine images
and screen captures up stating they are offered to all comers freely.

"A few retail media sites have small images larger than thumbnails that require paid membership
to allow login to download the full-sized images.

"A few fan sites have attempted to delete the download option via HTML code. These sites are
easily defeated.

"Screen captures from video tapes or network broadcasts are even more elusive as to sources.
Even those with logos frequently are from now defunct sites. Others are posted on forums with
no source identified. Scans of paper images are even more problematic.

"It is obvious that image sourcing is impossible where many images are involved, as at this site.
Attempts to claim original ownership of images, once the first downoad is allowed, is simply
naive and probably a waste of bandwidth and brain cells.

"The only definite one is the source for some early images of Emilie de Ravin/Curupira
form Ben's inactive,  but still online Curupira site. Other sites have come and gone with
many of the same images as Ben's, which he got from other sources, but he was the first:

"Glory (Gloriana) asked me to come up with a simple medium-fast loading site all-browsers
compatible concept that used full pages and no Java , frames or  Frontpage extensions
for this site, after I registered the domain name for her.

"The concept is loosely based on some intranet web sites I created, starting in 1995,
that are quick loading, easy to update and simple to navigate to content. I have done
the basic work, she has done much of the populating and most of the transcription of
the documents we have received. (See the Site Update Log from the Main Page for
the testing and changes made).

"This site uses only 2 basic templates: top level pages with the full-sized "Glory" black logo
bar:

and lower level pages with the smaller logo bar:

"Most pages are simple tables and nested tables created in Netscape 4.7x  Composer, plus some
text editing of the HTML source code where absolutely necessary.

"There is some cell padding with with black image bars because IE 5.x has display differences
with tables not containing information in all the pixels across a page. Later % table widths
were replaced with fixed width tables, but the black filler images were retained for the look & feel.

"All thumbnails and image editing (brightening dark screen captures, resizing, despeckling and
sharpening, colorization adjustments, etc.), were done with Paint Shop Pro. Unacceptable
quality images are not on this site unless they are absolutely unique. Inital site opening
has only the first page of the planned multiple pages of thumbneails for each of the 8 primary
initial galleries. Additional pages will be added as time permits.

"The current server size of the web site files is approximately 30 MB/ 700 files and growing.

"Oh, and the black on the site is because she said that Clare says that is her favorite color.
Look at her and Glory's black nails (all 20), even as far back as the cabinet ad."
