We did a 21 minute videotaped interview  with Clare at Starfury Fusion in Blackpool, England 5/2/04.

Clare and Emilie are friends and Clare "loves Emilie", she said in the interview. Clare's
"Skulls III" came out. She is great in it. Also her D.E.B.S. DVD came out and has been
broadcast on SUNDANCE several time in 2004. This was her daring lesbian short of 2002, 
as Lucy in the Sky.

After "Brick" Emilie completed shooting her lead in "Santa's Slay" in the snow in Edmonton, Alberta in April 
and went to Hawaii to shoot the pilot of ABC's new fall series. LOST. She is in the cast as the very
pregnant "Claire".

Michelle's "Eurotrip" came out in theaters and in DVD. 
Then her somewhat daring role as Celeste in Six Feet Under on HBO.
Now she's in Disney's Ice Princess.

- New galleries (see menu at Gloryisagod.net) include Emilie's extensive role on CBS "Handler", guest starring 10/31/03.
  her first real work since  "Carrie" (2002). On 10/7 she had had a brief appearance on CBS Navy NCIS. Both follow a probable 
  9/2003  summer change of, among others, her manager. She signed up with Clare's long time manager. He'd left Untitled 
  Entertainment  sometime in mid 2002 (?) to form his own agency, DGM. Taking Clare with him and then signing up Emilie. 

- Several new Clare galleries, including one of her 5 films since 10/2002, L.A.D.J.. She also had an audio interview on ESPN
   that we have a link to. [Yes, Clare really talks that way in real life. Glory was Clare speaking her way.]

- Clare did her 5th film since 10/2002, "Guy in Row Five" in 8/2003. 

- She was in a probable 2002 photo in a coffee table photo book "Hollywood Splash". This image is in the galleries
  in the menu at  Gloryisagod.net . She has no L.A. photo ops since 10/2002. Emilie has been appearing regularly at 
  these events, as has Michelle since completing "Mysterious Skin" in 8/2003. Later Michelle did 9 new "Truth or Scare" 
  episodes, broadcast initially 10/25-26/03. on Discovery Kids. See the gallery linked from Gloryisagod.net.

- Narrative Works: 
  All of "Gods Walking Among Us" manuscript in hand. A very complex work in which Michelle & the god-girls help
  Lucy get thru the portal to the Palace and regain her godly powers. Clare mounts a punitive expedition to New Sumer,
  with Lucy and her gang of supergirls (Amy, Michelle & Chris) an integral part. Curupira takes charge in a crucial period with 
  al, the Queens away. Glory 'rescues' , as planned, her Alliance & New Sumer 'subjects' (She was crowned 'Queen of Heaven"
  in "Three Queens", becoming the 4th Queen in the Palace) from Clare and her extended families' destruction of the 
  Gray Guard faction on and near New Sumer.

- Putting up the start page from the hundreds of pages so far of the follow-on manuscript "Once Upon a Time", another 
   complex work  in which Emilie starts an investigation of Dawn as a Black Widow serial killer of young men while on 
   her business trips. Other threads involve most of the Palace gods/supergirls  in some way or the other, many  on special 
   away missions approved by Clare, Queen of the Pantheon. We also see, for the first time in detail, life thru the eyes of
   Zan Harding, Queen Tess' almost 2-year old god-girl, who was a human boy until Clare upgraded him to a god-girl
   in "Gods Walking Among Us".

- Also started two mirror-named MSN Groups to supplement our Yahoo Groups:

  But MSN tracks & limits the total images posted on all groups by users, so we stopped putting images there

- Michelle returned from Prague for her June graduation from Notre Dame HS in L.A. Her post-Buffy movie, 
 "Ugly American"   probably wraps in earty August. So she should be appearing in the L.A. Photo Ops soon.
  Began tentative work on the oft-delayed Michelle News. It will feature appropriate links to the image albums on
  Michelle Trachtenberg Net, where we are also an asst manager. Modeled after Clare News & Emilie News.

-----Started re-capturing some of the more difficult to read DTLS Works captures. Most of the older ones were done with PSP 4.1, 
and PSP 7.0 does a better job on the red not bleeding. Also, the older captures were with the old gray page background color, which is not only hard to read, but  depressing. The later white background pages captures are more cheerful and easier to read.

-----Captured 2 of the four new style images with side cell comments from "Comprehension, Part 1". The Buffy-Anne "Little things"
one and the visually spectacular "Glory and the Bomb" one. have to resume all four in-work Works. Especially now that 12 of the 13 parts of "Our Story" are received and the Part Titles for each are on both the Comprehension start page and the Works Page. Added the latter new "Our Story" bestowals to the Bestowal Lineages table also.

-So far it has moved beyond the 'round table' confrontation where, for the first time all the primary gods (Glory, Clare, Holly &
Inanna) are present. Clare delivers several major surprises. It's hard to get back to the interim completed, but not yet online, works after scanning this later one. {i.e.,Blood Road, Sukkhal- The God-Killers, Comprehension)

-But it doesn't end here. Her terrible secret is jeopardized by the cleverness of Lonnie and Holly, in spite of Clare delivering a tempting diversion to both.   Later she manages to recover control with Lonnie, but continues to arouse Buffy-Anne's (the girl extracted from the Buffy-Bot by Tess) already extensive suspicions about who Clare really is.

-Then, surprisingly, she sets off for what is supposed to be the first "All The Clares & Callies" conference in their hometown of Delaware, Ohio in the Buffy-is-TV dimension.. Several of the newer gods (Tess, Curupira, Dawn)  and Faith accompany her. 
They arrive in the "Glory Triumphant"  the first of thousands of starships captured by Glory starting in "Blood Road". 

-Also with them are Clare's  two 8 year old god-daughters (Gloriana & the newly minted/adopted Inanna). They  enter a convoy 
down to Dayton, Ohio, to  Wright -Patterson Air Force Base. There she proposes a deal with the military and a rep from Majestic, 
Olivia D'Agostino,  while cylinders of the 'alien' grays in preservation liquid look down on them in the converted hangar-museum 
that received the original 1947 Roswell crash material -minus the pods and the Granilith.

-After some bloody and bullet catching demos involving the incredible capabilities of the Sukkhal Twins in ferreting out alien hybrid spies, the deal is struck - as an alternative to having Glory exterminate the Anunnaki/Gallu/Enkum forces and their human allies on earth like Glory has done elsewhere. Clare has personally seen that Glory is not concerned about collateral damage and tells
them that civilization might not survive Glory's fleet's normal debugging methods of an infested planet like earth. 

-Almost immediately another rival pro-alien secret government factions attacks, this time with the help of men-in-black gunmen
from helicopters and two 80 foot diameter Gallu flying saucers. A bloody melee then ensues, with Clare and the rest fighting 
with the military and Majestic. Dawn takes the little girls, Faith and the 3 mere immortal  girls to the roof. There they are set upon
by men from the helicopters. While Faith handles the men, Dawn takes on the nearest helicopter in her first battle as a god, not merely as a supergirl Last Slayer. 

Clare is forced into her first mass killings of the Gallu & Enkum to protect her two daughters. She takes on both of the Gallu
saucers and wins.

-Clare grows as a god to a totally new level from the challenges met and conquered. Already immensely powerful with her unique 
time domain god-powers, Clare has just advanced on the physical domain god-powers  to the level of  Glory and Holly. Plus,
as she and the gang eat at a hamburger place outside Columbus, on the way back to Delaware, she discovers that she may 
have accidentally figured out how to generate these jumps in god power on  a planned basis. Possibly a clue as to how god-DNA actually works. 

-She is also wrestling with how to tell Dawn and the others of her secret deceptions, that go back to before the 
tower mergings. And that she, Curupira & Tess have lied a lot to Dawn in providing inputs for the prior DTLS works!

This was triggered by the recent receipt of the first new DTLS handwritten works pages since late summer. She had said that we needed to finish "Comprehension" transcription/upload  first. She changed her mind and has begun to send more works material and some updates to older works. She has asked us to re-look at the Callie (recently identified by us as Clare's younger sister) coincidences in the 1999 Elizabeth Massie novel "Powers of Persuasion" where one of the gods Buffy fights, other than Polly (scripted origin of Glory), is Calli, Polly's sister.

The new pages are for the criss-cross work  "Clare & Glory - Our Story" about the 'impossible' pregnancy of the failed 'other' Glory in her host, Clare. Instead of being a journal by Clare, as we had assumed, it turns out, surprisingly, to be a clever intertwined work of Clare verbally discussing her experiences - from the tower warehouse, to her assuming unexpected godhood in Roswell (during the battle between the pregnant Glory and the newly empowered Isabel). All the while being interrupted by Dawn, her and Glory's god-girl Gloriana, Curupira, Tess and assorted visitors, while in the old Glory minor palace on Glory's world. 

It takes us in leaps and bounds to glimpses of the Greater Glory Saga and the new Pantheon that was achieved and documented in the Works we have partially online and those we have only titles for, as yet. 

[Ed. -Interestingly, Dawn mentions that  the other-dimensional Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen will be cast in 2003 as the young teen 
Sukkhal Twins - see details in  entry for 1/20/02 above.]

The work "Our Story" starts out boldly in one of Glory's palaces:

         My name is Clare.
                    I'm a god.
                    I wasn't always a god.

This palace is  the very one where Glory and Buffy fought, then made peace and fell in love,  in "Beyond the Portal". In the course of this intriguing new work, we are in a time period that corresponds to 2010 A.D. Glory's world time, but about late 2002-2003, at best, our time, due to the vagaries of time rate flow in the various dimensions. 

The god-girl Gloriana here is now almost 8 years old. Dawn the Last Slayer is now also a famous writer/producer in several dimensions and sometimes fleet officer for Glory. Glory herself  is the burgeoning  active ruler of a vast expanding confederation
as her fleets free ever more worlds and dimensions from the eons-old cruel, heartless rule of Inanna and her myriad warlord and demon allies. Glory's relentless cleansing of the galaxy of true evil is like a wave of, well, Glory, spreading among the stars, worlds and dimensions.

Glory's only criteria for joining her confederation is, we learn, "How much do you love me?". 

To everyone's surprise but the irrepressible Glory,  this has turned out to be a rousingly successful formula. A wrong answer determines the fate of rulers claiming to speak for their people. As a result, the number of those praying to Glory increases by about a billion each month. Her broad pixie smile and face are spread across countless thousands of worlds, loved and admired. Those who haven't deduced how to love her are fleeing before her forces into the wilder places in the galaxy and dimensions. 

In the course of this work, Glory does return once for a visit to her 'sister' and 'niece' Gloriana/Glory Hall. Glory is accompanied by her own adopted 'daughter' Buffy-Anne (the girl that Tess Harding freed from the Buffy-Bot in "Three Days in Sunnydale") and, naturally, Buffy herself, who was made a god by Glory in "Comprehension" & Comprehension - Preview". We also find out more about the enigmatic original creatrix-god Holly and Clare's subtle delimiting of Holly's powers to ensure the stability of all reality.

- Lost about 2  weeks getting everything to work on the  new 1.7 Ghz Athelon with XP. The biggest problem was getting updated XP 
  compatible Easy CD Creator Explorer drag & drop CD-R/RW file copying. This makes it compatible with the Win 98 Easy CD Creator
  format. XP's native Nemo-like  CD burning is the same as what works in Win 2000. Pretty primitive: copy to hard drive, then write to
  CD-R/RW. It's really a bad thing in XP. The drivers with all but the latest www.roxio.com Easy CD Creator 5.0, plus 2 downloadable
  upgrades to 5.02, caused XP to not shut down and to take 5-10 minutes to load after a user was selected. Now that this is over and 
  a second 60 GB hard drive is installed via an ATA card & the 3 in one printer/scanner/copier is working, it runs great. Now to get the 
  video capture card installed and the network set up with the Win 98 computer. A great feature in XP is the ability to select other 
  operating systems to run older programs in a compatibility mode. Most utilities under Win 98 & NT 4.0 will run this way.

If only there were here in our world those who reach out, grab evil by the scruff of the neck and eliminate it on the spot.

We were reminded of Curupira/Tess' words in 'Dawn the Last Slayer Part 1 of 3" when facing her would-be rapist-murderers
in the portal warehouse: DTLS 1 of 3
...
"You two are even more worthless than most humans," Tess said in a low voice... "At least vampires 
 and demons have survival as a part of their killing. You're beneath contempt, preying on innocent......
"For that you will die," she smiled a smile that should have struck any intelligent being as a warning....
...
She was not smiling.
"I'm the one who's weeding you two useless humans out of the gene pool," she hissed....
"There is no mercy here for you, "she said, still hissing in anger, "No more than you gave
your victims. I am justice. I am vengeance. I am death."...
...
His eyes strayed to the scene in front of the tower steps. "Jeez, what happened... demons?"
he guessed, since there were bodies.
...
"Worse," Tess said quietly, "They were serial rapists and killers of so many girls. They wanted me.
All I could think of was, what if it had been anyone else but me? I remembered when we found the
other Dawn's body. I know, it wasn't the same, but it was still innocence brutalized. To endure endless
terror and torture and then to be discarded like trash.".

Curupira/Tess was right: "There is no mercy here for you... "No more than you gave your victims. 
                                                I am justice. I am vengeance. I am death." 

COMMENT: DTLS Works screen captures are shown in forced table 100% size because of IE 6.0 compatibility
                    issue:  It does not show larger images alone at 100% size, and this makes the text degraded. 
                    None of the other browsers has this problem. Opera 5.12 has a similar dynamic resizing of 
                    the viewable screen from 100%, but not as a default . It still keeps the text readable down to 70%.
