[continued from Part 2...]

"It's time to talk, " Dawn said from her corner position near the three guys, Kyle the closest,
his knee barely touching hers.

She almost giggled at the very sophomoric nature of it. But didn't.

"As you may know," she said, "We're from Sunnydale, California, " and she reprised the
brief introduction for a sullen Max and a tablecloth-wrapped Michael.

"I'm also a Vampire Slayer and the Key that was forced to open the portals that led to all this
mess, there and here," Dawn noted, " so, in a way, I was responsible. We're here at our Tess'
insistence to see if we can help.  Kyle..."

Kyle looked at Dawn, "Dawn made me immortal... with a kiss," He added to make Dawn blush.
She did.

Maria scoffed, "I could curl you toes with a kiss, Kyle. That doesn't mean you're immortal.
You once thought that you were getting powers because Max healed you, like Liz, when you
were dying. I think Tess even pulled some tricks on you  to to make you believe you could
control the TV with your mind. Fantasy, Kyle. You're human, like me and Liz, not alien, no
superpowers."

Kyle held out his left arm, "I'm trusting you, Dawnie", he said.

Dawn broke his arm halfway between the elbow and wrist with a blurry whack of the side
of her hand. Kyle jumped and Dawn grabbed his arm, "Seconds," she said. He took a deep
breath and everyone could hear the sounds of bone against bone as the arm snapped
back into place and repaired itself.

"Incredible," he said and kissed Dawn briefly. She blushed again.

"Umm," Dawn let his arm go and spoke rapidly in short sentences. "Okay, that's immortality,
our style. No male aliens, only females..The ones here. Join the club. The five of us are
all immortal. We also have superpowers."

"I'm the last Vampire Slayer. You know Tess and Curupira. Curupira's a demon. Clare's the
host to Glory."

"Glory?," Liz spoke up. "Where?"

Clare morphed Glory in. "Glory's temporarily sharing Clare's body. Glory's a god," Dawn
tossed out.

"God?" Max and Michael said it almost together. "You're not aliens?"

"Well, Tess is," Dawn replied, "But she's merged with Curupira, so I guess she isn't anymore.
Yeah, g-o-d, " She answered the first question

Lonnie was having a fit behind the door at each revelation. Demons, Vampire Slayer, a
fricking pregnant god? What was wrong with this world? Had it changed? ...merged was the
the word she'd used.

Sunnydale was definitely where she had to go. She watched for more information.

"It's a trick," Michael suddenly had a voice.

Without warning Glory blurred past him from her corner position across from Dawn.

She ran up on the next booth's seat,  through the wall and reappeared several booths
closer to the window in an explosion of wood, wall paneling and a few flying nails.

"Trick that, alien boy!" she raked the debris off her ripped and torn clothes, carefully
checked the baby, then sat down to a very quiet table. Everyone was staring at the
two Glory-sized holes in the wall. Except Curupira, who stood up on the seat, reached
over Maria and plucked the debris from Glory's red hair with her green nails.

"That was a nice wall to the next building, "Liz voice was plaintive, "Please, no more
demonstrations. If you say you're a god, we accept that."

"Anyway," Dawn continued, drawing imaginary lines on the table with her forefinger as she
talked. "If Liz and Maria were immortal, they'd be immune to the mind and physical attacks
most of your aliens could muster. They could become players instead of potential targets.
We also could help if need be. Call us."

" 'course," she added," It'll require a big, long wet kiss on on one of the three of us, me, Tess
or Curupira. Who's up for immortality?"

Max stirred uneasily, "This could be dangerous, Liz...don't."

Defiantly, Liz spoke up, "I will," she said, "as long as it's the green girl, Cur...Curupira, not Tess."
"Hush, Max. I've been an outsider and this may be my only chance to be of real help to you
and Michael and Isabel. Besides, I want to live forever. How can you deny me that?"

"Good start," Dawn agreed.

"As to immortality for the male alien demons, we'll go back and talk to the other Glory, the one with
all her godly powers and her own body and see what she thinks can be done without endangering
ourselves. It may take time, but we'll come up with something," she promised.

"Demons?  We're not demons, we're aliens," Isabel objected.

Curupira leaned across the table and took one of Isabel's hands. Sniffing it. "Demon...Glory?",
she thrust Isabel's arm further down the table to Glory, pulling Isabel partly onto the table.
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
Glory sniffed.

"Demon, " she agreed. "Sort of an odd signature. Curiously, it's almost identical to our Tess'
when we first recruited her. Now that she's merged with Curupira her signature is more complex,
of course."

"Super-technology demon, biological magic maybe, not of earth originally or my dimension,"
Curupira elaborated. "Dawn and I've run across traces something like this when visiting the
remaining parallel dimension to ours. We've never perceived them as a threat to us before."

Dawn piped up, "Let me, " and took the long-suffering Isabel's hand and sniffed it. She was just
learning to use some of the more fringe Curupiran powers. "Yeah," I think it's like we ran across
at that underground place we dimensioned into awhile back because it was a weak spot between
dimensions.

"Groom Lake?," Curupira guessed. Names were not her forte.

"Area 51," Michael said condescendingly, "We know. This is Roswell, remember? Not La-La Land."

"We took some souvenirs back to Sunnydale," Dawn added, "Come out and see them sometime."

Liz was bored with this. "Do me," she implored Curupira.

"Ready," Curupira agreed...She scooted up on the table center and turned to put her feet
down the table toward the three guys. "The other way," Curupira patted the table beside her.
Liz got up on the table and swung her feet up against the wall and in front of  Isabel.

They were side by side, facing the opposite direction. They were the obvious center of
everyone's attention now as they waited to see what happened to Liz. Isabel was watching
them like a hawk. She could feel that her chance was getting close.

Lonnie could easily see the two girls on the table and was drinking in the odd
event for future examination.

"Now, Liz," Curupira said using the manner of a school teacher, "Once the energy starts to flow,
I can't let you loose or you could be hurt." Their faces were within a foot of one another. Liz
noticed that her eyes were gray like Tess'.

"This could take one minute or five minutes," she continued, "It's dependent on how fast you
assimilate the energy and the magical changes accompanying the energy, In essence, every cell
in your body will be redone down below the DNA level, below the molecular level, to a magic
template - or so I'm told by someone - really, you'll be a magic new girl."

Liz nodded. "Magic, OK."

"Oh," the green girl added, "You may also experience a full body orgasm at some point. If you
do, I might also. Just too much energy and magic all at once."
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
Liz echoed, "Orgasm, OK."

"Kiss," Curupira finally said.

Liz replied by rote, "Kiss, OK."

Liz hesitantly put her hands where Curupira guided them, on her green-clad waist. Curupira
put one hand behind Liz' neck and pulled her lightly to her until they were eyeball to eyeball.

"Open wide," the green girl said quietly.

She did and they kissed.

Long and hard and wet. A fire of energy suddenly started to flow as the bestowal began.

Changes started instantly in Liz's body and mind. Changes much greater than in Kyle's case
because both were feminine and more compatible. Liz saw flashes of a great forest, flashes
sort of like when she'd had with Max. Flashes of the planet where Tess came from, mixed with
Curupiran ones.

The magic washed over and into her like nothing she'd ever experienced. It was like she
was being reborn from the inside out. Her body tried to control it and could not,  so she let
herself be one with the flow, as Curupira had told her.

Liz realized that she was kissing Curupira frantically, tongue and all, trying to get more of the
energy to flow and to ride on...and that she was climbing to a frenzied total orgasm and taking
the green girl with her, as both were caught up in the feedback of the energies and Liz'
response to them.
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
Then Liz dramatically went limp. Totally limp. As if someone had pulled a switch.

Curupira released her iron grip on her neck and let the girl slip down and backward a bit.

The bestowal was over. After a minute or so, taking a deep breath, Liz gradually opened
her eyes.

When she did, Curupira morphed to Tess, smiled mischievously, and said "Was it good for
you, sweetie? It was for me." Then she laughed softly, shrugged her shoulders and asked
loudly. "Next?"

Liz still sat dazed on the table, looking at a strangely pensive Isabel near the wall. "Get off the
table, Liz, " Isabel leaned on the table and pushed herself onto it without sitting as Liz had done.
Max and Kyle were pulling Liz off the end of the table, leaving it for Isabel and Tess.

"Have at it, 'sweetie'": she mocked Tess. "You can do it as Tess," she challenged, "I don't care."

"Not as quick as with Curupira," Tess laconically replied.

Lonnie suddenly realized what Isabel was going to do. The bitch knew about this in advance
somehow.

"Do it!" Isabel reached out, pulled the surprised Tess to her and forced the kiss on her
abruptly so that it looked like Tess was just eager. 'Oh. well,' Tess thought as she opened her
mouth. 'At least I don't have to worry about her pulling away.' She wondered how different
an alien hybrid girl would be.

So far she was a lot like Dawn had been at the tower for Curupira.

The energy flowed smoothly. After a moment, Isabel began heavy energy extraction with
her tongue and mouth that Tess found unusual. Isabel also seem to be more in control than
Dawn had been at this stage.

Isabel had seen that the more Liz orally stimulated Curupira, the more energy she got.
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
Suddenly, Isabel was able to slip a dreamwalk into the feedback stream to Tess. Normally
impossible, the bestowal made the dreamwalk undetectable. Tess believed everything was normal,
just a little slow.

She was also riding a long slow full body orgasm diversion, courtesy of the dreamwalk.

The energy flow rose to a torrent as Isabel broke down all barriers with her dreamwalk. The more
energy she got, the more she could demand. She was already mostly converted magically, so great
was her ability to handle the magic flow.

Light began to appear at their joined mouths, eyes and faces.

Everyone moved out of the seats and stood to watch as the light and flowing tendrils of fire-like
energy played  about  the two on the table.

"What the hell?" Dawn used one of her her rare expletives. She saw that the two on the table were
now engulfed completely in a soft yellow bubble of light.

"Glory. Help," she looked around for the redhead.

"Not to worry," Glory responded loudly so everyone could hear her. "We have a signal in case she's
got a problem. She's OK, just not expecting that Isabel would be so powerful and ready to accept so
much energy and magic."

At exactly that point, Tess held out her left hand with two fingers extended. "Signal for more energy,"
Glory explained and jumped smoothly onto the table, grabbing Tess' hand. All three were
immediately engulfed in the yellow bubble of light.

Anxiously, Dawn watched this go on for another 10 minutes by someone's watch she ripped off their
wrist. She paced up and down in the space behind the last booth, as close as she could get without
entering the bubble. Kyle watched her get more and more frantic.

Twice Dawn had started onto the table, but Kyle and Liz had persuaded her to not risk it.

Both times Glory had mouthed the words. "No, stay off."

After an eternity, it seemed, the light began to fade.

First around Glory, then Isabel and finally Tess herself. Each's  blond hair was so charged that they
looked like spiked halos. Only Glory had been able to resist the effect.

Tess leaned back, gasping for breath. She looked like death warmed over. Glory was instantly
beside her on the seat, holding her and trying to talk to her.

Isabel wiped beads of perspiration off her forehead and tears from her eyes. She smiled a fake
smile at the barely conscious Tess, stood up on the table, saluted her, and said sarcastically,
"Was it good for you, honey? It sure was for me!"

Isabel was silent while Glory was talking to Tess as if she were a child needing comfort. Dawn
had no idea what had happened. Glory was checking Tess' pulse and an expression of alarm
flashed across her face.
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
She pulled Tess to her and planted a kiss on her pale mouth.

In a heartbeat they were in a bubble of blue light so intense none could look at it without it
hurting their eyes.

In seconds, it was over.

Glory helped a now mobile, but weak, Tess to her feet off the seat. "That was resurrection
by a god of an immortal almost dead," she said as she turned around to look at Isabel
still standing  on the table in her dark dress and flats. Her hair had returned to normal.

Dawn was leading Tess away to one of the tables.
"Which is impossible," Glory continued, "Unless..."

"Dawn," she said in rapid GlorySpeak, "Get-Tess-to-morph-to-Curupira-while-I-kill-this-bitch!"
She blurred toward Isabel and everyone else ran for cover.

Incredibly, Isabel blurred from the table to the floor at the back of the room, but Glory was faster.
She had the blonde in a grip of inhuman power, yet Isabel was still fighting and seemed unhurt.
She was blurring loose and trying to attack Glory in turn.

"What are you?" Glory managed to corner her again near the counter, but to her amazement,
Isabel just kept running - right up the wall and across the ceiling to the far wall and to
the floor!

The other Roswellians watched open-mouthed at the impossible feat by their Isabel.

Dawn was shaking Tess and screaming at her, "Morph!, Morph! Please morph!" as she glanced at
Isabel now on the other side of the room. She felt Tess painfully morph in her hands to Curupira's
invulnerable form.

Glory and Isabel next met near the center of the room, between the tables and the booths.

They hit at full blurry speed after running through tables, booths and chairs as if they were
made of paper. The impact was like two trucks colliding, almost metallic. Both simply bounced
off one another, ripping their clothing to shreds as they did so.

They pounded on one another with little effect until Glory began to employ massive magics that
Isabel could not yet use or resist. The net effect of the magic was to multiply the force of Glory's
punches and to add huge jolts of energy with each blow that connected.

Isabel jerked at each impact as if she were being electrocuted.

Still she fought the shorter Glory toe-to-toe. But Isabel was now a mass of bruises on what
seemed to be her now nearly invulnerable body. Glory was unmarked, being invulnerable.

Breaking free, Isabel did her trick of running up the wall and across the ceiling again -
only to meet Glory coming the other way this time. Watching them with her face uplifted,
Dawn was mystified as to how they did it. Isabel glanced down at Dawn and saw that
Tess had successfully morphed to Curupira.
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
She could end her punishment now and she gasped with relief.

Isabel, now clad only in melting shoes, a few tatters of her panties and a bra in the
process of coming apart, veered off from collision with Glory and ran along the ceiling
between the light and fan supports to crash through the front wall over one window
and vanish onto the roof in the darkness.

Glory stopped halfway to the gaping hole Isabel had smashed through the wood and the
exterior bricks. She dropped to the floor and did a graceful, for a pregnant girl, flip to land
on her feet with a bang.

All she had on by now was her melted shoes.

She grabbed a table cloth from one of the few unbroken tables and put it on like a towel,
tucking it in at her breasts. Then she did the ritual of feeling her belly for the baby, It was
unharmed. There were layers of magic about the girl anyway.

"We have a problem," Glory said in a classic understatement.

Lonnie had already left to try to follow Isabel. Isabel had risked everything to gain the power
of the green girl, Tess and maybe some from the pregnant god.

Lonnie wanted to know why.

Glory stomped over the where Max was holding Liz near the other front window.

"What's that triple-bitch sister of yours really, Max? She damned sure wasn't just another local
alien demon like you. I don't know what she is - do you?" She was livid with rage. Dawn had
never see this Glory that mad. Usually she was rather passive, as compared to the volatile
Buffy's Glory.
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
"Tell me," Glory demanded, "or I'll kill you, and her and him and..." she stopped and turned to
Dawn. "This is like her. I can't do it."

Dawn dragged a still-out-of-it Curupira over. She tugged Glory aside and grabbed Max by his
throat, "Don't worry, I'll kill 'em for you! I've killed evil demons by the street-load. I can rid
Roswell of part of its infestation right now!"
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
The little Slayer pushed her arms to full height, lifting the much taller Max several inches off the
floor at full extension.

Liz begged Dawn to stop, but was deathly afraid to touch her. She grabbed instead at Max
and tried to support him.

Kyle put his arms around Dawn's waist from behind and pulled on her, "Not Max," he said, "For
me. Put him down."

With some reluctance, Dawn released him and pushed Kyle away angrily, "Don't ever grab me like
that when I'm doing Slayer stuff," she fended him off as he tried to put his arms around her. When
she saw the hurt look in his face, Dawn relented and let him at least hold her in a hug for a few
seconds.

She saw that Max now couldn't stop talking to Glory, "...I don't know. But I'll try. she was identified
to us as a Betrayer called Vilandra on our original planet before we were sent here in some form
to be reborn as hybrids...uh, she never had all these new powers and abilities...the strength, the
running, up walls, on ceilings..." he ground to a halt at the impossible memories.

Glory started over to Michael, still with his own tablecloth wrapped around his waist, Maria
stood in front of him. "Over my dead body," she warned.

"Noted," Glory simply lifted her, yanked her aside like a doll and tossed her in Dawn's direction
to catch.

"Not the brightest move," Dawn whispered as she intercepted the girl spinning through the air
like an errant mannequin, "but very brave, nonetheless." She deposited her on the floor beside the
listless Curupira. "If Curupira shows any problems or distress, call me or Kyle," she told the
blonde. "Glory won't hurt him, I promise." Dawn didn't make the same promise for herself.

With Dawn moving in behind her, Glory said only one word to Michael, "Talk."
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
He did. "Isabel's always had emotional reactions that tend to result in new powers, but not like this."

Glory stepped back to Liz, who volunteered that Isabel seemed to have withdrawn into herself
after Alex's death. "She spent a lot of time alone. She started running. She borrowed Maria's car
frequently on weekends and went somewhere. She also was getting lots of money from somewhere.
New hundred dollar bills."

Kyle, still hovering near Dawn, observed, "Glory, you notice that Isabel wanted the bestowal to be
by Tess, not Curupira. It looked to me like she sort of forced Tess into the kiss, not the other way
around...Is Tess weaker in her morphed form than Curupira? How would Isabel know?"

"Yeah," Glory looked thoughtfully at him, "Yeah - and she was somehow able to convince Tess that
she was near to energy capacity every minute. I believed it, too. Based on what Tess was signaling.
If I'd been actually touching Isabel, instead of Tess, I'd have known that something was wrong."

Max, still rubbing his reddened throat, said, "Isabel has a dreamwalking power that she's used
through Liz  while awake, and others while asleep. She also has an energy control power that she
said she used to repel the congresswoman's attempt to kill her and Tess that time. "

"She never used the second one here, but she could have used the dreamwalk in some way
during the...kiss."

"Was Tess almost dying, like you said?" Dawn put a hand on Glory's arm, "And if, so, why didn't
Isabel go all the way and steal even more power? When I was watching her run on the ceiling the
second time, with you, she looked down at me and Curupira, then turned and ran out through the
front wall. Slayer's instinct tells me she was stalling to be sure Tess morphed into Curupira."

"Well," Glory rubbed her mouth unconsciously in thought, "She sure paid the price. I beat her
almost senseless. I still have no idea where she came up with this wall and ceiling running
concept."

"I just magically cloned the idea from her," she offered the totally false explanation to
them.

They couldn't know how close she'd come to defeat.

Only Clare's intensive magic training to forestall Glory's fear of unplanned events during the
upcoming birth had saved her. They would have had to call on the other Glory to resurrect her.
It might have been touch and go for Clare's mind and the baby's survival, though.

It would have been the end of her Plan-B, a new god-girl body. Glory might have been trapped
forever in Clare's immortal body, with Clare vanished, along with the baby.

That was why Clare had fought so hard as Glory and Isabel had been physically pummeling
one another. She thought up both the energy enhanced punches and a way to do the wall/ceiling
running. Clare was a fighter and not a victim.

"Think Matrix," she'd said cryptically. Glory had no idea what she was talking about from inside
her mind.

"Just run at the wall, I'll do the rest!" Clare assured her.

Glory dropped her hand from her mouth and realized that something else had changed during the
prolonged bestowal, other than Isabel becoming a near-god.

Clare had  tasted much of the energy magic and feedback between her and Tess. The enhanced
capacity of her magic reservoirs, created  by Glory for the baby birth related contingency, were now
unintentionally and irrevocably, filled to overflowing, at Glory and Tess/Curupira's expense.

And she was growing stronger as she played in the background with power she'd only watched Glory
use before. Glory and she would have to address their relationship rules soon.

"No problem here," Clare told her from inside, with barely suppressed excitement. "The 'triple-bitch'
Isabel, as you called her," she astutely commented, "Was, like you and me, fighting for someone
else, not herself."
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
Someone was talking to her - from outside. It was Curupira, weak, but talking. "Glory, I'm sorry." She
sounded like a little girl. "I shouldn't have let her bait me into not morphing..."

Dawn reached out and pulled the green girl to her to console. " What do we do now? If that thing
that was Isabel returns after she learns to use her new powers, which might not be very long based
on what we saw tonight, she could kill everyone, except maybe the three of us..." she was unsure.

Glory turned to Max. "We can't stay here. Soon someone's gonna to see the damage outside and look
inside. You better alert anyone Isabel might go to that she's dangerous. Though as powerful as she is
already, I doubt it'll do any good."

Liz looked up at Max, then at Glory, "What do you think she'll do now?"

Dawn laughed bitterly, "Like the old gorilla joke: 'pretty much anything she wants'. Let's get out of here.
How're you going to explain this, Liz - vandals?"

Liz and Maria looked around at the almost destroyed interior of the Crashdown. Most all the furniture
was demolished from the running battle between Glory and Isabel. Then there were the two big holes
in one wall that Glory had made on her own.

Most bizarre of all were the multiple foot tracks mashed inches into the walls and ceiling from Glory's
high heels and Isabel's flats. Liz counted over a dozen other wall and counter smashed areas
where Isabel or Glory had bounced off as they tossed one another around.

There were pieces of melted shoe plastic and leather at random places on and near the wall, ceiling and
on the floor itself. Small tatters of Isabel and Glory's outer and inner clothing littered the room like
confetti. Glory was just now peeling off the stray pieces of her melted pantyhose, unconcerned at her
blatant nakedness under the wrapped tablecloth that she had pulled up to her breasts.

Everyone noticed she appeared normal human, except she obviously had no navel on her swollen
belly.

Dawn reproached Glory, "Not now. Cover yourself."
Copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
Maria looked away and up, adding. "They hit some of the ceiling fan and light hanging supports..."
At that moment, several fans crashed to the floor of the Crashdown.

She continued, "Guess the only things not broken are the two big windows in front and..."

Liz swore under her breath, walked to the front and calmly tossed a chair through both windows,
one after the other.  "May as well make it complete for the insurance company," she smiled wanly.

Maria walked over to Glory, "I want to be made immortal like Liz - soon."

"I think we need to wait a day or so until Curupira has recovered. I think Dawn to needs to hold off,
since she's in the best magic energy state right now. She may have to fight isabel. I'm pretty shy of
a full tank, too."

She held back explaining that a huge quantity of her massive magic energy store was now beyond
her reach and under Clare's control since the bestowal fiasco. "What's mine is yours, if I can help,"
Clare told her from inside.
